Ringhouse Cottages, originally built as a farm around 1690, are surrounded by over 3 acres of gardens and meadows. Our 3 cottages are set in the beautiful and unspoiled Woodland Valley close to both Coniston and Broughton-in-Furness and are a perfect place from which to explore the Lake District National Park.

Each Cottage has it’s own individual charm, with amazing views. All cottages are fully equipped, bed linen and towels are provided. The cottages combine original features with modern comforts, we even provide a free internet wireless connection in each cottage.

Ringhouse is a hidden gem which is why people come back year after year. The water even comes from our own spring which we filter and treat to meet all British standards, it is so lovely we should really bottle it. So that everyone can enjoy the delights of Ringhouse we offer short breaks all year round.

The courtyard provides ample parking for each cottage. Pets are welcome in some cottages and within 5 minutes walk you can be on Latter Rigg Fell, the perfect dog walking paradise. We have written a book for every cottage “Walks from our backdoor” so you can enjoy the fabulous walks in the area without using your car.
